Overview

Pacific Rim is an environmentally and socially responsible exploration company focused exclusively on high grade, environmentally clean gold deposits in the Americas. Pacific Rim's primary asset and focus of its growth strategy is the high grade, vein-hosted El Dorado gold project in El Salvador. The Company owns several similar grassroots gold projects in El Salvador and is actively seeking additional assets elsewhere in the Americas that fit its project focus.

Pacific Rim's exploration strategies and geological programs are conceived, planned and carried out by a core group of successful explorationists including Tom Shrake, the Company's CEO, Bill Gehlen, VP Exploration and Dave Ernst, Chief Geologist. This team has over 75 years combined experience in gold and copper exploration and was responsible for the identification and delineation of a number of world class mineral deposits. They have many years of experience working in North, Central and South America, and have a unique understanding of the gold belts of Central America.

As a result, Pacific Rim's exploration focus and strategic advantage centres on gold in the Americas. The Company exclusively explores for high grade, environmentally low-impact deposits that offer the potential for high margins. Our exploration is conducted with the utmost respect for local communities, their culture, health and the environment.

Our exploration approach involves: focusing only on gold projects with low environmentally risk; prioritizing projects with low-cost potential over sheer size; preferring projects with high-grade mineralization; and, seeking projects in geological terrains where our exploration team has a competitive technical advantage.

Pacific Rim's primary property is the El Dorado gold project in El Salvador. El Dorado is an advanced project that hosts a large high-grade, vein-hosted epithermal gold system with current resources in excess of 1.4 million high grade gold ounces.

The Company's Santa Rita gold property is an early-stage project with high grade vein-hosted gold on surface. This project meets the Company's exploration growth criteria and is an exciting prospective target in our exploration pipeline.

The grassroots Zamora-Cerro Colorado project hosts a gold-bearing epithermal system that can be traced for over 19 kilometres. Zamora-Cerro Colorado is an early stage project that provides blue sky potential to the Company's portfolio of exploration assets.

Ongoing project generation is a key component of Pacific Rim's exploration strategy. Our approach to project acquisition, whether through staking or optioning, is to favour projects with relatively high potential and relatively low opportunity cost.
